Merry Christmas
This was a 2014 Christmas postcard I designed. I used a skeleton to replace the ordinary Santa to show a creepy but cheerful ambience. This work was a Photoshop experiment: I used default brushes and pen tools to imitate a delicate artificial style. I scanned a textured paper and enhanced the shadows and highlights to simulate a worn texture. Also, I combined layers with brushes to make these charcoal-looking checker board and doodles. Sometimes I think it is this simple purpose of decoration that makes me become more inspired.
