Maktar is a startup company established in 2013. I worked with the owner before Maktar was founded, during my graduate studies. Their team has experience in a wide variety of industries and is comprised of designers, software engineers, hardware engineers, MFi specialists and most importantly, Apple fans. I had had a very satisfying experience with them, so I was hired to design the image for this new and brave company. I created four diamonds inside the "M", which represented the four founding members. They were so thrilled about the outcome, they asked me to design another logo for their first product, the Piconizer: photo library for iPhone. This project was on the Kickstarter websites and the crowdsourcing result was such a huge success that Maktar was approved by the Apple company, as an official application developer.
